Project Sales Engineer is responsible for developing the strategies and plans for capturing business in the B2B domain and then work towards implementation of the same with the support of B2B team, and will be responsible for meeting and exceeding the project revenue target.

  • Identifies, screens, selects and negotiates new project development opportunities. 
  • Identifies, screens and structures business deals and opportunities. 
  • Supports up-sell activities on current projects. 
  • Initiates strategies in a timely manner to maintain organization’s strong market position. 
  • Fixes up the monthly/quarterly business plans based on the active projects in the area handled and based on the targets agreed with management. 
  • Achieves the requisite order booking from the assigned customers and regions and ensures that the top-line and bottom line targets are met consistently. 
  • Builds relationships with key customers to enhance long-term business prospects. 
  • Builds relationships with major consultants, customers, designers and architects. 
  • Organizes and conducts various promotional activities such as exhibitions, contractor & consultant meets, as a part of market development and brand building effort. 
  • Constantly works towards identifying new business opportunities, market trends etc. Provides sales analysis and feedback on product performance, trend in market, range analysis etc. 
  • Proactively relay competitor statistics to the management to ensure pro-active response in the market. 
  • Acts as the bridge between the customer and the production department to ensure that the promised designs and products are delivered to the customers in the agreed lead time. 
  • Provides insights to B2B management to ensure long-term product, service and technology needs are met of present and future clients are met. 
  • Develops the overall capabilities of the team through coaching the junior staff.
